What do your feed a baby with a severe rice intolorence.
Its interesting to see now that research is suggesting that reactions to rice can be just as severe if not worse than those to cows’ milk or soy milk, rice was once thought of as a very low allergenic food.
From my reading a food elimination diet is the best course, even probiotics haven’t shown a really strong result, though they may help to a degree.
So on this basis I would chat to a good nutritionist, naturopath or dietitian who specialises in allergies so that you can work out a good diet that covers all the basis. They will need to know if baby is also reaction to other cereals and grains in order to come up with some alternatives.
Don’t worry too much about the issue of iron there are plenty of ways around this, if that was your concern re baby rice cereals and iron.
