At what age would you recommend giving them eggs?

My little girls is 8months olds -can you recommend a good cookbook for baby/toddler meals/snacks?!? I`m getting a bit bored with pureed vegies for dinner.
And also at what age would you recommend giving them scrambled eggs or eggs in general?!?!
Thanks

Leann...
Answer: Hi There,
Well I hate to blow my own trumpet but I think my book is a nice little book on solids (What do I Feed my Baby?), it keeps all the healthy eating principles in mind (so there is no sugar or salt and focuses on variety in order to reduce fussy eating), it really helps you to know what foods at what age you can give bub and gives you ideas on meals and snacks. This link will take you to my site: www.cadencehealth.com.au

Also have a look at the Huggies Cookbook area of this site.

Eggs can be trialled from about 10 months, there is also no harm in delaying them a little especially if there is a history of allergies in the family. Eggs are a fantastic food and so convenient! Don’t forget you can offer bub fish, cheese yoghurt, lentils, tofu, rice about now you can look at white meat and soon red meat, and so on, so that really widens the repertoire.

Hope that helps,
Leanne
